At Abell Animal Hospital, we currently partner with FIGO, Nationwide, and Pumpkin pet insurance, though we do not personally endorse one over the other.
Figo insurance covers common illnesses, accidents and emergencies, wellness exams and preventative care, chronic medical conditions, hereditary congenital disorders, cancer treatment, and more.
With Figo, you can usually close on your insurance claims in just a little over 2 days, and there are no per incident caps on claim payments.

Nationwide offers insurance plans for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Accidents, illnesses including allergies, arthritis, and ear infections, and preventative care (vaccinations, exams, parasite preventatives) are all covered under Nationwide. Certain plans can also provide coverage for prescription diets and hereditary conditions.
Pumpkin plans cover treatment for injuries, illnesses, emergencies, and preventative care from any licensed veterinarian in the U.S. and Canada. They offer 90% reimbursement and a 10% multi-pet discount for each additional pet enrolled in a plan.
